Edaw pulled as hard as he could, but the beam in which he was tugging on wasn't budging. The brute noticed this (while still having Lopex and his ax hanging from his head) and stomped down as hard as he could on the chains connecting Edaw's arm to his mechanical hand.

Edaw slammed to the ground onto his chest from the yank the brute's stomp caused.

The brute then grabbed Lopex and threw him at Edaw!

Edaw didn't budge. he couldn't. The brute still stood on his chain-arm. Which meant Lopex slamming into him was all the much worse.

(Lopex Loses 1 Health Point to his left arm.) (Edaw Loses 1 Health Point to his head).

The majority of the knights in peregren quickly did away with the horde zombies within and were now working to move a spare porticulus to block the hole in the wall where the horde had been pouring in through.

However the one brute was still rampaging.

And Erron saw it.

He ran straight as the brute and jumped swinging his khopesh blade (Versatile Ability +1 to attack) (Called Shot -1 to attack).....

CLANG!!!!!

SHULRP!!!!

Erron's blade clanged off of Lopex's embedded ax forcing it to continue cleaving through the brutes head, cutting it's head in half diagonally, killing it.

The huge body slumped to the ground.

The knights quickly dealt with any remaining horde and Erron walked up to Lopex and Edaw.....
Erron said nothing to no one.....he simply began walking away down the street.

"Sir, the brutes have been defeated."

"Any casualties?"

"Yes, sir... One ugly drunk. His body is still at the Quarters Inn."

The two guards then felt a cool breeze pass by. They looked at each other and shrugged.

At the inn, Lopex was at the side of his... friend?... "James... you're supposed to dodge rocks..."

The newly remodeled inn was a bit drafty. Lopex ignored the winds though. Then there was the dust... and he was suddenly not alone.

"Finally, I can begin my redemption..."

Leif knelled next to Lopex. He closed his eyes, placed his head on the bloody stump that was James' head, and focused...

A soft energy flowed from his Leif's hand to James...

Aldion remembered flying through the air, a sharp pain in his left arm, a brief interaction with a wall, then blackness.

He awoke with a throbbing headache, caused as always by Punky, who was slapping him to wake him up. He pushed the monkey away, and called out to a knight that was nearby, "Did we win?" he asked groggily.

"Indeed sir, a few travellers and knights to the brutes down, the rest of the horde was turned away as well. If I may sir, are you alright, you're missing part of your arm..."

Aldion braced himself on the knight and stood slowly, "Tis but a flesh wound, I've had worse, take me to the inn please" he asked

James' eyes fluttered open, as he was healed and brought back to the land of the living.

The first face he saw was Lopex's goofy grin looking down at him.

After his grin faded, he scowled at James.

"You're not supposed to die until I'm finished with you. Luckily, I just saved your life. You can repay me in the future. For now..."

James then pushed himself up and stormed off to where the bar used to be and started to make himself a drink.

Lopex looked up at Leif.

"Good to have him back."

He then went and up to the man called Aldion.

"By the way, elf. There's a short, red haired fella looking for ya... I don't remember his name though. Sorry."

"Is she alive?" the voice asked.

"Yes, the blow from the brute knocked her out, but she's alive," another voice replied.

"Wake her," the first voice said.

Kryia's eye's flew open as she felt a large bucket of water hit herself in the face.

She found herself in a dark room, chained by both wrists to a wall.

"You're awake. Good," an old man with liver spots who wore tattered brown robes and had a comb over said.

"You do not know us, but we know of you. We are the Tothian Mage Guild. And you are a practicing mage without our permission.....you are our prisoner," he finished.

**********************************************************************************************

Erron found an abandoned building in Peregren. He knew that during the fight the Knights were glad to have his help, but as soon as it was over they would be ready to arrest him.

He didn't get along with the Knights. He didn't get along with anyone. And with Guyver dead, he would have to find a new way to get to Acaetus Nimius.

He set up the telescope in the second floor of the abandoned building and watched the others near the devastated Quarters....

Kyria spewed water from her mouth as a big 'ol bucket of water was thrown in her face. She looked up at the binds upon her wrists then looked at the men who stood before her.

She looked at them with a bit of confusion not understanding what they were saying to her.

She pulled against her bounds while cursing the men in darkling and demanding to be set free.

The old man wiped the water Kyria had spit at him from the side of his face and then slapped her across the face hard. The two mages then left.

"You're wasting your time," a voice from the shadows whispered.

"I tried the same thing two weeks ago when they locked me up too. My name is Rizzen Vrinn. I'd say it's a pleasure to meet you but....well....this place isn't very pleasurable," he finished whispering and coughed a bit.

Kyria let out a moan when the man hit her, then watched him with an evil stare through strands of white hair.

"Oh don't be daft! Of course I have a name, I just don't remember what that name is. But if you must call me something, then....D'ynra?"

Kyria yanked at the chains "YOU BASTARDS! LET ME GO! BY THE GODS, I'LL KILL EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!!"
She yelled out in darkling, through gritted teeth angrily.

Rizzen laughed softly and coughed a bit.

"I told you...D'ynra...you're wasting your time. You can scream forever and they will not care. The Tothian Mage Guild observes all through various--"

Rizzen stopped, his body caught by a fit of coughing.

He composed himself and continued.

"They watch all who use the Arcane through various scrying means. Those who are not a part of their guild who practice the Arcane are taken captive by them. So you must be a practitioner. Either that or you've done something to make them very angry with you. My advice is to save your strength to find a way out of here. In the past two weeks I have been chained to these walls I have seen two others come here as captives. Eventually they are taken away. They never returned.

Myself. I will simply wait." he whispered.
